As I looked into the mirror I thought to myself,
What if I'm the one in the opposite realm?
What if I'm the reflection and she's the girl,
Living in her shadow in the antonym world.
Everything I do, I see, I live,
Is it a reflection of what really is?
A wrong-sided rendition in a framed glass portal.
I'm the reflection of a living mortal.
It's really not fair, if it comes to pass,
I will be no more if she shatters the glass.
I'll roam around undead 'til she finds
Another glass portal in which I'll rewind.
If I bang on the glass, will she let me out?
But I only shout if she opens her mouth.
She controls me like a puppet, I do what she does.
The good, the bad, without any cause.
And then I began having other strange thoughts.
What if life is a game between two powerful gods?
Like pawns on a chess board them move us around
And when the game's over, where shall we be found?
Or what is life is a long-running dream
Conjured up by some great sleeping being?
And when he finally wakes from his bed,
Will we still be living, or will all be dead?
